The reception took place this past Sat, 18/3 at the groom's residence in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. Ironically, this is probably one of the longest events I have had to cover eventhough the couple's procession was the earliest.
Again, the opportunity to shoot the event was invaluable. I would like to thank the bride n groom for letting me grace their wedding. I hope that they will both enjoy the pictures and that Allah will bless their union with His rahmat.

aleeya...

from time to time, insyallah, i will post aleeya's development here just to share with you my joy. i must say that i am so proud of her that i cant stop smiling everytime i look at these pictures.
since her birth, i've gone thru some changes, physically (i gained 2-3kgs hahahha), mentally (all the late nights..well not really), financially (what?!! no more money in the bank???), and emotionally (i've become more sappy than before).
now, at a little short of 2 months, aleeya has become quite a handful. she smiles a lot lately everytime we play with her, though the brooding look is still there. she has grown a lot that i can only carry her for 5-10 mins before my arm starts to sore.
but baby...u'll forever be daddy's lil girl. 
as for the mum...she's just the greatest. i lov u hon!!!

wow...this was THE longest trip i've had to go thru for a photoshoot. it was tiring, but at least i've got the chance to see parts of malaysia that i've never been to...so if you asked me what's there in grik, i would have to say...excruciating scorching heat!!!
anyways...i had fun doing the shoot, blood sweat and all. any experience is good experience i'd always say. the crowd turnout was way more than expected according to the bride's mother. as you can see in the photos, some of the guest had to sit on the floor to enjoy the food. but it was all good and at the end of the day, the happy couple remained...well...happy.
to siti and sapri (or is it safri?), may Allah grant you happiness (again!!) and prosperity. Amin.

Unfortunately, I wasn't the official photographer for this wedding. However, the groom was gracious enough to let me shoot the wedding and share it with all you viewers.
The reception was held at Prince Hotel. Food was awesome!!! I can't imagine how much he must've spent for this occassion. Well, I hope you'll get it back through the angpows...
Anyways..since ST already has a photographer, I decided to take some pics of the event, but mostly our common friends and colleagues. To those not featured here, I didn't know you are or were in Maxis!!!
To ST and his lovely bride, I hope you'll enjoy the pics and the journey ahead.

I'm a DAD!!!

19.01 now not only means hotdogs, but also the birth of my first born baby daughter, Asya Aleeya. the feeling is beyond description and it's true what ppl say, that you can only understand the emotion when you're actually blessed with a child.
and let me tell u something else...grown men do cry!!! (or maybe it's just me). after witnessing the pain of labor and the tenacity and determination that engulfed my wife, I was so overwhelmed by Aleeya's presence in my arms for the first time, with her penetrating eyes, that the tear ducts went bust and i was covered with such immense happiness....
i cannot say thank you enough to Allah and my wife, for blessing me with Aleeya. I love you sayang!!!
...now papa has to go work and take pictures of other people's day of happiness so that you and mommy can have a better life...

My first attempt at family portrait photography...

let me share with you what i learnt, n u'd probably know this but i was too dumb to actually notice this fine point. the lesson can be summarized in ONE word:
SPACE
yup....lucky me, noora's house had a big (n empty) living room. also, this "event" was the first time i used my studio lights n all, so it was an eye opening experience.
well, i can only get better with time AND practice. so, folks, if you need cheap, but acceptable quality, please do give me a call and we'll set up an appoitment.

this is something i conjured for linda (tg karang) as she asked me to create another layout. i thought of going with the movie poster angle again, but i decided against it and did a hallmark type design.
the poem was mostly written by my wife. thanks honey!!!

lemme just say that yati is so natural in posing. an absolute delight to work with, she always had a smile on, which makes it so easy for me to take pictures of.
and to my surprise, this event was a double wedding!!! woo hooo....again, this is a first for me. so the experience was good, thought i didnt shoot much of the other couple. yati...i hope u don't mind.
unfortunately, the weather was not so kind (depending on how u look at it). whats more, i had a splitting headache throughout the event. but although it poured, right after, the sky was clear as crystal. good opportunity to take some outdoor shots.
again, i hope the happy couple will be satisfied with my work. to them i wish all happiness and blessings from Allah.

this is my first job outside of Selangor...well actually i covered their whole wedding experience from Telok Gong to Kuala Kangsar. I was apprehensive and reluctant at first, especially the trip to KK, but everything turned out so well that I didn't even wanna go back!!!!
to be honest, im not a big fan of backdrops, but sometimes the customer wants it so. however, i prefer outdoor shoot as examplified here in this entry. this was my first try, so its not perfect in any sense.
but i'd like to thank both aton & yus, for being so patient and sporting about the whole thing. this is for you, and i hope you like my work.

My first outstation shoot. What an experience!!!
The actual wedding was on the 4th of December. I did the akad and reception but the pics shown here are all from the day of reception.
I'd like to thank linda and her beloved husband for being so accommodating and patient with me, and I hope you enjoyed the fruits of my labor.
